About Sill Lake

Sill Lake is a silver-lead vein property in Sault Saint Marie of Ontario with a NI 43-101 resource filed in 2021, a history of strong sample grades, and a recently identified structural extension that has not yet been drilled.

The immediate opportunity at Sill Lake is the 2-kilometre structural extension identified by a high-resolution airborne MAG survey completed in June 2022. The survey revealed that the northwest-southeast trending structure hosting the known resource extends significantly beyond the currently defined deposit boundary: a target that warrants a follow-up drill program. Tartisan staked 10 additional claims to cover the interpreted extension, bringing the total to 57 claims.

Silver and lead sit outside the battery metals narrative but remain relevant to the critical minerals conversation. Silver in particular has growing industrial demand from solar panel manufacturing and electronics. Sill Lake provides meaningful portfolio diversification alongside Tartisan’s core nickel focus.

Technical Summary

All resource figures and geological data cited below are sourced from the NI 43-101 Technical Report prepared by SMX International Corp. (May 9, 2021).

The Sill Lake Lead-Silver deposit is hosted within a northwest-southeast trending shear zone in Vankoughnet Township, approximately 30 kilometres north-northeast of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Mineralization is controlled by argentiferous galena along a steeply dipping fault contact between Huronian-age metasediments and a Keweenawan-age gabbro dike. Historic development intersected a proven ore-shoot over 150 metres of strike length, with the vein grading up to 40 oz/t silver and 10–30% lead.

The Main Vein hosts a measured and indicated resource of 103,644 tonnes grading 4.42 oz/t silver, containing 458,333 ounces of silver with associated 1,467,965 lbs of lead and 505,126 lbs of zinc. An additional historic inferred resource of approximately 660,000 ounces of silver has been identified across the North, Middle, and South vein trends, representing meaningful upside subject to further drilling.†

The 2022 high-resolution airborne MAG survey (297 line-kilometres at 50-metre spacing) confirmed the hosting structure extends approximately 2 kilometres to the southeast, with further northeast continuity offset by a series of interpreted faults — defining the primary drill target for the next phase of exploration.

† The ~660,000 oz inferred figure is a historical estimate referenced in the 2021 SMX report from Chemrox Technologies (2010) and has not been independently verified by a current Qualified Person.
