Turtle Pond is an early-stage nickel-copper property in Northwestern Ontario, located approximately 70 kilometres east of Kenbridge in the same Archean geological setting that hosts Tartisan’s flagship deposit. That geological context is important. The rock types, structural controls, and mineralisation style at Turtle Pond are analogous to those at Kenbridge, which gives the exploration program a meaningful template to work from.

The property hosts three historical nickel-copper showings: Glatz, Double E, and Night Danger, none of which have been systematically explored with modern geophysical methods. Historical drilling at Double E intersected mineralisation at shallow depth, and surface sampling at Glatz returned grades that justify follow-up. A reconnaissance program in September 2022 located historical drill collars and confirmed the presence of the known showings, providing the foundation for a systematic exploration program.

Turtle Pond is an early-stage asset and should be understood as such. No NI 43-101 resource has been defined, and significant work remains before the project’s potential can be properly assessed. Its value to the Tartisan portfolio lies in its geological prospectivity, its proximity to and similarity with Kenbridge, and the optionality it provides in a property package focused on battery metals in a proven Ontario nickel camp.

Technical Summary

All geological data and drill results cited below are sourced from Tartisan Nickel Corp.'s SEDAR-filed news release dated February 10, 2026, which draws on historical exploration records on file with the Ontario Ministry of Northern Development and Mines (MNDM) and Canadian Arrow Mines Limited. Technical content reviewed and approved by Dean MacEachern, P.Geo., Independent Qualified Person under NI 43-101.

The Turtle Pond Project covers 161 claims across 3,375 hectares approximately 40 kilometres south of Dryden, Ontario — in the same prolific northwestern Ontario nickel belt as Tartisan's flagship Kenbridge Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project, located 70 kilometres to the west. The property hosts three distinct nickel-copper sulphide showings: Glatz, Double E, and Night Danger.

At the Glatz showing, nickel-copper sulphide mineralization has been identified across twelve trenches along a 700-metre trend, in a zone up to 40 metres wide that remains open along strike and at depth. Historical grab samples returned up to 1.95% Ni, with 2007 surface sampling confirming grades including 1.28% Ni and 0.26% Cu (Trench 3) and 4.06% Cu (Trench 4). Six drill holes were completed, with hole GZ-09-02 returning 0.34% Ni, 0.16% Cu, and 0.02% Co over 5.9 metres.

The Double E showing — identified on a 2008 airborne VTEM anomaly — intersected a compelling near-surface nickel-copper-PGE zone. Hole EE-09-02 returned 4.2 metres of 0.81% Ni, 0.52% Cu, 0.20 g/t Pt, 0.16 g/t Pd, and 0.20 g/t Au at 25.5 metres depth, including a higher-grade interval of 2 metres grading 1.35% Ni, 0.81% Cu, 0.36 g/t Pt, 0.27 g/t Pd, and 0.31 g/t Au. A second zone at 135 metres depth returned 8.2 metres of 0.55% Ni and 0.38% Cu.

At the Night Danger showing, 2009–2010 drilling intersected a nine-metre sulphide zone assaying 0.57% Ni and 0.45% Cu at 79 metres depth, with two sub-intervals exceeding 1% nickel. Hole ND-10-1 returned a high-grade intercept of 4.53% Ni over 0.7 metres at 57.5 metres depth.

A Time-Domain Electromagnetic (TDEM) geophysical survey was completed over the property in late 2024 by Expert Geophysics Limited to define drill targets for the planned 2026–27 exploration program, which is expected to include surface sampling and diamond drilling.
